Piercing

We don’t take appointments for piercing services, But if you would like to request a particular piercer you may want to call ahead to make sure they are scheduled that day. Also, the different piercers at The Hole Look have different experience with different piercings, and there are a few less common genital piercings that may not be offered by all piercers.

For minors younger than 15, we will only pierce earlobes.

15+ we will perform most piercings.

All nipple and genital piercings are 18+.

All minors being pierced must have their legal guardian present, and we will need government issued photo ID from both. If the guardian’s last name does not match the minor’s, we will need proof of guardianship as well. Please call for more specific information regarding accepted forms of ID and guardianship paperwork.

No. We require the child to give written and verbal consent to the procedure. Generally, we will start piercing earlobes at around five years old.

For all walk-in services, we ask anyone who wants to be pierced to be in at least one hour prior to closing—and maybe even earlier on weekends. We can get pretty busy, so please be patient if we let you know there may be a bit of a wait. We try to take our time with everyone! We generally take piercing clients from noon till 6pm.

Eat First

We request that all clients have eaten a meal within four hours prior to any service—even inserting jewelry or stretching a piercing—as this lessens the risk of becoming nauseous or faint. If you haven’t eaten before coming in to get pierced, we will probably send you out to get food. It really helps.

Arrive Sober

We will not perform any piercing or tattoo services if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Besides, what would your momma say?

Be Flexible

Not all piercings work for all people. If we tell you that the piercing or procedure you’re asking for won’t work for you, please understand we are trying to ensure you leave the studio with a healthy piercing with a good chance of healing. We don’t like to turn away clients, but we will decline to do a piercing we feel strongly has little chance of long-term success.
